Robert Lewandowski scored the only goal for Poland in their 1-1 draw with France in the first leg of their Euro 2024 playoff semifinal.

The Bayern Munich striker converted a penalty in the 38th minute to give Poland the lead, but Kylian Mbappe equalized for France just before halftime.

Mbappe was wearing a face mask after suffering a broken nose in a training ground collision last week.

The second leg of the tie will be played in Poland on Tuesday.
